Don't you think that Mimi looks cute with a doggie?
Just look at how this one loves to jump on her lap!
See? She knows just where to scratch him!
Does Mimi need a doggie?

"Meem" votes "No" and especially not that one (don't tell him I said that; he's welcome to visit any time). He belongs at Owen's house) or "Maybe when she gets old she'll get a cat.")

meem dawg does not need a fireball! hahaha... how about an older doggie from the pound...no one really ever adopts those because they all want young dogs. gram-i think that it would be the 2nd best thing you have done for yourself in a long time! (2nd to visiting me! hehehe)
Yes, she should have a dog. But she can't have Taz. Mary M wouldn't have any of that.
I vote YES! She does need a dog!!! I agree with Julie, older would be better. Young dogs are too much work, I can hardly keep up with mine...
Alright... now we are on to something! ...how old is "older"?
I will vote "yes" IF it's a dog that knows how to use a toilet, AND a toilet brush.
p.s. Meems is VERY cute in those pix!! That's MY momma!
Older would be 6 or more...Caleb became a very good boy the day he turned 5...
as far as using a toilet and toilet brush...we'd be better off getting her a cat...dogs are pretty lazy as far as work around the house goes!
I vote "no" because someone has to. We all know that Mimi's on the move too much to have to deal with a canine companion. Of course, as you all know, I'm not the biggest dog person around (we were a one dog family and Rush was with us for 17 years -- long after the rest of the kids had left the nest...) We have visits from grandpuppies and that's just fine for me and I think it's just fine for Meem Dawg. As she said herself, when she gets old she can get a cat (one that could care less about housework) and the two of them can cuddle up and keep warm together in those Minnesota winters. Now, the question is: When will Mimi be old?!

Yes...Concur with Julie. Meem Dawg should adopt a lovely gentle dog. MM would never let Taz leave.
